Movie Session – Red, White & Blue
In honor of Black History Month, the Metropolitan Police is extending an invitation to the entire community to attend a special movie session at New Scotland Yard on October 1st from 13.30 to 15.30. This event promises to be an inspiring experience, the attendees will have the opportunity to watch ‘Red, White & Blue’, a BBC film based on the true story of Dr. Leroy Logan, a former Metropolitan Police Superintendent. The film follows Logan’s journey as he faces challenges of racism and discrimination in his pursuit to become a police officer. We encourage everyone to join us in this event and be moved by Dr. Logan’s courageous story. Let us come together as a community to celebrate Black History Month and learn from the experiences of those who have fought against injustice and discrimination.
